In the last lesson, I talked about how you can delete individual cookies from the Firefox browser. If you do not know how to do this or just forgot, then read about it here. Today I’ll tell you how to change the download folder in Mozilla Firefox.
First, let's go into your browser settings. To do this, click on the button in the form of three bars in the upper right corner of the browser and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
A new window will open where you need to go to the "Basic" tab. This is where the "Download" settings section is located. To specify a folder for downloads, select the "Path to save files" item, and then click on the "Browse" button.
Another window will open where you need to select a folder on your computer for where all files will be downloaded.
After that, you will see the path to the folder where your files will be automatically downloaded.
If on the contrary, you want to select the folder into which you want to save the file, leave the option "Always prompt me to save the file" selected. Before the file is saved, the browser will ask you about which folder you want to save the file to.
That's all. In the next lesson, we’ll talk about how to view history in Mozilla Firefox.
